Priority primary care centres (PPCCs)

Priority primary care centres (PPCCs) are supporting nearby hospital emergency departments by providing GP-led care for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions such as mild infections, fractures, and burns. They offer pathology and imaging services onsite or nearby and are available to people of all ages at no cost to the patient, with or without a Medicare card. All clinics are open for extended hours, 7 days a week.

If you are requiring urgent but non-life-threatening care you can go to your closest PPCC. You will be seen quickly instead of waiting hours in an emergency department. Bookings are encouraged but walk-ins are available.
