Due to rising staff and utility costs – more so with extra precautions for COVID-19 – we will need to implement an increase to our consultation fees from 1st January 2023. This allows us to continue to provide high quality care. Your rebate is fixed by the Federal Government and has not increased in relation to business costs. If the Government increased your rebate, your out-of-pocket fee would be lower.
There will be an out of pocket fee of $100.00 for all New Patients.
The private fee is dependent on time taken with the GP and you will receive a medicare rebate less the $100.00 out of pocket fee.
All visits following the first visit will be charged as per our clinic fee policy.
Medical Consultation Fees are reviewed annually and are determined to be fair and reasonable. Increases are generally in-line with CPI and based-on guidance from the Australian Medical Association and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
**Medicare Rebates are refunded as soon as possible to those who hold a Medicare Card. Medicare Rebates are subject to change.
When you book your appointment with us online our booking system will display your estimated out pocket cost at the time of booking. Please note that this amount may change on the day should your health-care needs require a longer appointment or additional procedures.
If you’re booking your appointment with our front desk please ask our helpful staff for your likely out of pocket costs.
Any fees on this page are an indication only and may be out of date. Please speak to our friendly reception staff to obtain the most up to date information.
Note: Cancellation or ‘no show’ fees apply if less than 4 hours notice is provided. We always have patients who we need to fit in.
