For Naima, being a GP has always meant providing compassionate holistic care across the whole field of General Practice.
She graduated medical school from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and worked in Melbourne’s western hospitals before choosing specialty training in General Practice.
She has a special interest in Women’s Health and completed her DRANZCOG diploma in 2014, awarded for obtaining further skills in obstetrics and gynaecology. Naima offers family and pregnancy planning and contraception advice and is accredited for Implanon insertions. She is an accredited shared antenatal care provider, which means you won’t have to travel to appointments at your maternity hospital as often.
As part of Naima’s interest in Children’s Health she performs postnatal and neonatal checks to make sure you and your baby are doing well.
Naima provides Sexual Health appointments, including prescription of PrEP.
Outside of work she chases after her energetic toddler and enjoys photography, painting, sewing and cooking delicious meals for her family.
Currently enjoying time with her family overseas, she is excited to return to look after her patients on 21st October 2024.
