High-Quality Care You Can Trust

Welcome to Eleanor Clinic

At Eleanor Clinic, we believe your health deserves time, attention, and compassion. We’re here to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care — never rushed, never “six-minute medicine.” Because great care takes time — and you deserve nothing less.

Private Billing for Quality Care

Eleanor Clinic is a private billing clinic. Payment on the day is expected.

To be able to provide high quality care, there is a gap (out-of-pocket) fee applied to consultations.

Your gap fee helps us to:

  • Provide longer, more thorough consultations
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and beautiful environment
  • Offer a wide range of services, including:
    • Chronic disease management
    • Preventative health checks
    • Mental health support

We charge fair and reasonable fees, reviewed annually in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and guidance from the AMA and RACGP.

Why There Is a Gap

Government funding for Medicare rebates has not kept pace with the real costs of running a medical practice. Recent rebate changes encourage short, rushed consultations, which compromise patient care.

At Eleanor Clinic, we’re committed to doing things differently:

  • Longer consultations
  • Thorough, unhurried assessments
  • Compassionate, patient-focused care

Each tenant doctor consulting from Eleanor Clinic is independent and sets their own fees, which depend on:

  • The doctor you see
  • The length of your consultation
  • The complexity of your condition

Bulk billing often means shorter, rushed consultations.

We believe our patients deserve proper care — not fast care.

High-Quality Care Takes More Than a Few Minutes

Delivering excellent healthcare means investing in:

  • Highly trained contract doctors, nurses, and reception staff
  • Modern medical equipment and technology
  • Rent, insurance, electricity, and administration

Your contribution helps us maintain these high standards for every visit.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a Medicare Card, your rebate will be processed promptly after payment. Please note: rebate amounts are set by the government and may change over time.

Telehealth Consultations

All telehealth bookings will require saved card details. Payment will be debited within 15 minutes of your consultation, and your Medicare rebate will be processed automatically. Safe, secure, and simple — so you can focus on your health.

Making Healthcare Accessible

We understand the cost of living is rising.

That’s why we’re committed to keeping care as accessible as possible:

  • Online repeat prescriptions and referral requests
  • Telehealth appointments for busy days
  • Bulk billing for most Care Plans and Health Assessments
  • Quick same-day consults for medical certificates

By registering for MyMedicare, we may be able to bulk bill you for certain services in the future.

Medicare Safety Net — Save on Out-of-Pocket Costs

Did you know? You can reduce your out-of-pocket costs by registering for the Medicare Safety Net. Once you or your family spend a certain amount on out-of-pocket medical costs in a calendar year, Medicare will increase your rebate for future out-of-pocket services — meaning you’ll get more back for each visit.

How the Medicare Safety Net helps you:

  • Higher rebates once your annual threshold is reached
  • Families and couples can combine expenses to reach the threshold faster
  • It helps make ongoing care (like chronic disease management or regular reviews) more affordable over the year

Tip: To ensure you benefit, register yourself and your family as a group through myGov or by calling Medicare.

Even if you share the same address, you must register for your expenses to be counted together.
